When Jesus called people to follow Him on His 3-year journey from Galilee to Jerusalem they were invited to leave their familiar surroundings for an unknown future. During that time they were introduced to people and situations that made them uncomfortable. Their view of the world was threatened, disturbed and reshaped.
Amazingly they soon discovered resources within themselves that they never knew they had. They were invigorated, enthused, emboldened and excited, as well as horrified, frightened, disillusioned and humiliated.
This book draws hope from the people like us, who lived with the grace of God among them.
